Importance of communicative skills in teaching foreign languages to students of agricultural studies

Abstract

In an increasingly globalized world, the ability to communicate in English is an important asset in the workplace, but also to understand the culture and social norms associated with the language. However, many students find it difficult to explain their ideas due to the lack of limitations, whether vocabulary or practice, since they are used to carrying out the translation process, for this reason, the main objective of this research is to analyze the importance of the communicative skill of the English language to interact in English successfully and significantly in the students of the first semesters of the Agrarian University of Ecuador. For this research, students from the second semesters of the Agrarian University of Ecuador were used as a sample and population, for which a descriptive level of research with a mixed approach was used. The results of this research will be references for future research.
